bad plot, unlikable characters

narration was good. the story/plot was not so good. One of the very first things mentioned in the story is that players who are killed lose all memories, sense of self, and are put back in the game as NPC characters.

then all of a sudden it means their real bodies are brain dead? that the main protagonist has to tip toe around other players for fear of labotomizing his shipmates????

that’s just 1 of an extremely large number of plotholes that ruin the validity of the story.

the attempt at “comedy” is also unappealing, as the protagonist himself just never stops with stupid quips. whole paragraphs of nothingness spouting from his mouth, and the companions are just as bad.
