Gone is the weak but pleasant slice of spacer life story of book one. It is replaced in Half Share with a cringy and ridiculous plot that serves only to get characters into bed; horrific and repetitive dialogue; and copy and paste characters who act like brainless idiots fawning over Ishmael who does nothing worth praising. I feel sorry for the narrator wasting his talent on this. I won’t be finishing it.
