This book is, from start to finish, about bad people beating goodie-two-shoes types without any qualms. Shadowmaster, is the evil genius who knows just how to play the heroes against themselves, and win out like a real villain should.
That is half the fun, watching the black hats beat the capes. This is the follow up to Villains Rule, and as hard as it is to believe, it is even better than the first book. One of my favorite pieces came from listening to the sample. There is no sample, just Shadowmaster telling to to buy the book! Toooo Funny. That is the nature of this beast, humor to a point you might have to go to the hospital frm when you split your side open from laughing so hard.
Kafer just absolutely nails the narration, and his doing Shadowmaster is like Will Farrell doing Mastermind. You won’t want to stop listening. He really has great comedic timing, and voice inflection, so give the man a round of applause. I did receive a promo code to review this book, but that has no bearing on my opinion of this book. The books is solid stuff, and deserving of your money.
