I did not believe my eyes when I saw the 3rd book of the series up on audible. I got it and listened to it immediately. I was surprised to hear the annoying sound effects that don’t even match the sound they are supposed to portray. It was very distracting and out of context. I guess it would’ve been better without them.
the story however not what I was expecting, I was used to a certain standard and suspense. whereas this book was boring and full of side quests that even got the main character bored. it seems as though the author gave up on the story and just wanted to finish it.
I wanted to see the breeder den back online so we can learn about new classes and have different characters added to the village. the village was one of the things I loved about this book because we got to see it being built from scratch. but here it was ignored and left behind all for a non essential resource ( the viridium ).
totally let down, I hope this is just a filled in the series.
