almost half of this audiobook is backstory. I do not understand why authors do this this audiobook is over 30 hours long. the author could literally make two audiobooks out of this one and still have a long story. Why could he not turn the backstory into the first novel and the rest of the story Into the second one? I’ve never liked stories that jump around too much and this one feels like a rabbit on a pogo stick. Sigh.
