Hated this book. I found Milo simpering and pathetic, extremely irritating. Sure, there was empathy over his treatment by the ex-boyfriend but that only goes so far. At least Oz and Gideon each had vibrant sense of humor, Milo was just yuk. Made it to the last 2 hours of the book and couldn’t take anymore. That was wasted time I’ll never get back.
While Joel Lesley has many great qualities he also has some awful ones that are hard to get past. He uses some voices that make characters sound like they’re in their nineties, and has the WORST sex voices of any narrator out there! Horrendous.
I was very let down because Niall deserved a much better story. Or I did, it’s hard to tell.
💕I absolutely ADORED Gideon’s tale. It’s full of such sarcastic, dry humor amidst a very tragic tale. He went through so much to get his HEA, I couldn’t have been happier for him and Eli💕
