This is the first book in the Borrowed World series. Aside from being able to learn a lot of practical prepping tips, what I really like about this book is that it depicts life post-apocalyptic collapse pretty much exactly as I would see it happening.
The story follows a group of co-workers as they try to get home after being caught away on business when the SHTF (look it up if you need to). Things get ugly quickly, tough decisions have to be made, and people quickly change as they adapt to the new world.
I’m already looking forward to book two.
