This was unexpected. an audiobook with not only more than a single narrator to give a multitude of voices but with accompanying sound effects and decent singing voices. if this is what the SOUND BOOTH team always does with its audiobook jobs, them count me as a fan. The narrators were truly talented, each able to create unique voices, personalities nad emotions. Though the main male characters voices sounded slightly unenthusiastic which seems to be Jeff Hayes default voice. Maybe I’m always expecting it since i heard him from “Super Heroes for Sale.” As for the plot, its nicely laid out. A modern slice of life with Sci-fi that sounded feasible in the near future integrating it with hobbies and trends that reflect today’s world. Even hilarious cross breeding of product placements. The main character would’ve been totally one dimensional if not for the online game competent in the story. This technically would’ve been a harem book but Im not virtual women in the real world count and I was expecting a little explicit scene to go with it, sadly there was none. Still over all a good and entertaining listen. Download it. I can’t wait for the next audiobook.
