i have never read a book that use brilliantly placed descriptive poetry to paint battle. moves like the dragon unsheathes its claws to represent a powerful sword draw. or the sparrow dips as a dodge. not to mention the story and progress. I sense the story has a strong start for the beginnings of a well crafted series.
