Everyone needs a unique take on the zombie apocalypse these days and this was a great one! The zombie infection has a continuous spectrum of effects. Some even retain all human intelligence and emotions; the slow burns.
I really like RC Bray as a narrator but I don’t think he could’ve done better. Phil Thron was excellent!
I lived in Austin, Texas for 16 years; freshman year though PhD and postdoc at UT engineering. The author’s descriptions of campus and downtown Austin were spot on and very nostalgic.
