I’m 32, a super geek, very into computers, sci-fi, and space exploration…. And I loved this first volume!
Some may comment on the romance being childish, and the immature jokes made by the crew. I think it gives a human factor to the astronauts. We tend to see them as always business, trust me, they are not. I know many military pilots and they are big kids most of them. Astronauts are all almost all former military and very similar. In that line of work you must keep things light or you’ll lose your mind. Ken does an excellent job of showing this side of them.
The story is fantastic and builds upon itself very well. The narrator is great! The characters are dynamic and evolving, something you don’t find very often in literature today.
I say bravo Ken! Keep it coming!
