I listened to Book 1 in the Jon Reznick series and thought I might have found a good series. Sure the first book lacked depth and character development but it was only the first book, surely they would improve after all the writing was pretty good. Unfortunately I was wrong. I never did figure out why Jon had to be involved. He didn’t bring much other than his intuition and technically didn’t work for the FBI. He really didn’t bring any special skills.
There really isn’t much relationship building or character development with depth. There is minimal tension or suspense. We do know that nearly everyone is always in need of sleep .. This isn’t a series I am likely to finish or to follow waiting for the next book release.
