I found the first book of the 4-book series to be very good, and I bought these as a set. However, I plan to review and rate each book individually and as a set because I’m a bit upset with one of the events in Book 2 of the series, _Ichabod_, and plan to rate it as well as soon as I finish it. The first book shows you Mr. Goodwin’s Southern charm, but the second one’s hit a wall with how they deal with a situation. The first book helps a Christian somewhat prepare, though its Christian content can be disputed, and I attend what’s generally considered a rather conservative Protestant denomination already so that there’s no excuse for the stupidity I’ve encountered so far in the second book which I currently plan to rate at 3 stars. This one’s good all the way through…
