First, there is a lot crammed in very little space. Basically you will not hear a single model but a simple line about a mental model with some examples, half of them fairly politically charged.
He claims to be a super expert on the matter (from some top notch university) so as an expert he needs to take a step back and talk about the subject from the outside looking in. You are not telling what to think , just how to think about thinking. There is a difference.
Anyways, I had high hopes about this book — I am a systems engineer and have to listen to stakeholders’ problems, needs and wants and I was really looking for tools to help me with my job.
