The narrators did a good job telling the story and giving the characters a voice.

King of Corium

Book #1

School for kids of mobsters and gangsters

Aspen and Quinton.

This does end in a cliffhanger but good thing this is the box set of the first three stories.

Aspen is an outcast and is being bullied by the entire school students and staff ignore it because her dad is a rat she is hated by association. Quinton is the son of who Aspen’s dad tried to take down. This is a dark twisted bully story. Quinton is dealing with his mixed feelings towards Aspen he is also dealing with a couple things in his family life. Poor Aspen having no one to turn to finds herself submitting to Quinton and his punishments for his protection against one other bully who has his eyes set on her.

Drop Dead Queen

Book #2

This is the continuation of the trilogy. In this part there is truths, lies, betrayals, deception, kidnapping, stalking, deaths, revenge, more dirty talking, smoking hot moments. I do have a bit of an issue with Aspen because it seems that everything she goes through she still is naive and does nothing to protect herself like carry a weapon or pepper spray or learn self defense. It annoyed me a bit everyone calls her strong but healing and then putting yourself back in the basic same situation. But looking past this it is dark twisted and to me goes a little past bullying.

Broken Kingdom

#3

The conclusion. More of the stuff I already told you in #2. Tragedy, A discovery, Aspen finally had enough but there are consequences for her action she must face. A plan put into action. These two had a lot of obstacles to keep these two apart. I enjoyed listening to this trilogy and look forward to listening to the other books in the series.
