OMG! I have been forever waiting for Ivo’s story since I read Oz so I’m so freaking excited that I finally get to enjoy this book in audio. So worth it!
Henry has been in love with his stepbrother Ivo for as long as he can remember. Although their parents marriage broke apart, they never grew apart and became best friends. Henry once tried to confess his feelings to Ivo but he was rejected and lost hope. Several years later, he started thinking about dating around and giving up on Ivo. But unbeknownst to him, Ivo has been in love with him since from the very beginning too.
This is quite different from the first two books in the series. Lily Morton is known for her snarky banter and deliciously yummy sarcasm. And they were abundant in the first two books but this is more focused on the slow-burn romance and relationship buildup between Ivo and Henry. Both men are very hesitant to confess and it grated my nerves for a while but they are my darlings so I forgave them. Lol .. insanely hot together in the sheets! They were a treat to listen and I think Joel nailed the portrayal of these two. I loved the ending. It was so perfect. Can’t wait for another Lily book to listen!
