The romance level to this book was just too much. We have a navy seal that seems nothing like a navy seal. He’s too interested in romance to actually defend his friends and family. Our heroine is a “strong woman” that seems to need to be rescued at every turn. She, at every turn, gets her and her daughter hurt or nearly killed because she cant trust groups. Only to be saved by groups. The writer has to write dumb useless characters to create conflict. Use a better story line. It accomplishes the same goal.
