A fantastic second entry into this already wonderful series. There is no lull, no fluff or filler, it just jumps in and leaves you dying for more. I love the component of Jack Warrant’s neighbors, it really gives you something to think about. Book 3 just released and I can’t wait to dive in and get immersed into this world.
To me, this series doesn’t read like your typical post-apocalyptic fiction. Some books in this genre, you really need to have the prepper mindset in order to enjoy them, but this is so well written that I am convinced that anyone who enjoys well paced books with lots of action will be a fan.
Kevin Pierce’s performance is flawless as always, naturally. The guy is infallible, and I am so glad he is narrating this series.
