At first I was really turned off by the card mechanic at the center of the story and overall I still don’t love it… but despite that the story was still awesome and there a metric ton of big plot stuff that happens. Even though I didn’t love the mechanic it was done well and really made for some hilarious moments. The story kept me laughing out loud like every previous book. Narration is top notch as usual.
