The whole series has been excellent. The characters, especially the main character, Ishmael, has proven to be very engaging and well thought out and believable. Seeing him grow from a young man with few prospects to a successful Captain has been interesting and fun. The whole host of situations he has faced as he has progressed through his life are well written and believable. He faces his own fears and some flaws realistically and honestly which add depth to the story. I am looking forward to the next installment.
