Boyd’s work is quickly becoming some of my favorite in this genre. His straightforward and down to earth writing style is enjoyable to read and keeps you in the story. I appreciate how he gets into just enough detail without saturating the reader with too much technical data or specifications. There is enough there to pique your interest and to educate you just enough about different aspects of prepping that you could search out more info if you wanted to, but even if you didn’t research it you would have at least a basic understanding. Fun to read.
