This is a good first book In the series. I would have liked to see a bit more action but pretty sure book two will start out with some.
Mathew is a smart leader but there are a few things I think he should have known or thought about already. I don’t see the characters planning for a real future without society returning to ‘normal’ and I feel there should be more discussion about that amongst the characters.
I’m not sure where in NY they are but any logical person would know to get the hell out of there and find a new safe haven.
Hoping the rest of the series sees the group making better long term decisions.
Character building is great. Really starting to see them come to life and care for a few.
Andrew did an amazing job with narration as usual. He never disappoints.
I’m starting book 2 right now.
