I absolutely loved books 1-3 and where this one can be read/listened to as a standalone, you’ll most likely want to read/listen to those as well. I enjoyed this story, book four of the series, but thought a few places could have used a bit more work. Don’t get me wrong, this is most certainly worth the listen! The narration was a bit flat for me. I really, really liked the narrator for the first three books and felt that this narrator, Anneliese Rennie, just wasn’t a good fit. Even though I didn’t care for the new narrator, it also didn’t keep me from listening to her read. If you are a fan of this series from books one to three then you will enjoy this one as well.
