I really enjoyed this book! Aiden and Bryce both desperately want a position with the FBI in forensic computing. The catch is that there’s only one place available. The other catch is that their professor has put them together for their assignment. Aiden is introverted and prickly while Bryce is the complete opposite, easy going, friendly, and outgoing. From the beginning their chemistry crackles, at first not in a romantic way, but rather Aiden is antagonistic towards Bryce, while Bryce enjoys winding Aiden up in a friendly way. But things heat up after their first kiss and neither can put it behind them. I really felt for both of them as they realised that they’d become more than rivals but were still competing against each other for one role. I really enjoyed watching Aiden lower his barriers and defensiveness as Bryce helped him become more vulnerable. I also loved the verbal sparring between the two

Connor Brown does an excellent job at bringing the characters to life with his narration.
