(I will be using there code name’s in this review to try and avoid spoilers, as you discover more of each character as you learn there code names, Even still i’ll avoid spoil’s as best as i am able.)

So just reading the name of the series and the first bit of the book it is fairly clear this is a twist on the Suicide Squad, Which i rather enjoyed my self.

Each character is cool and interesting in there own right though i do wish we did get to learn a bit more about each of them and hopefully that will happen in up coming books. There power’s where all interesting and and handled in cool ways, Though i Admit Devil’s power is very common so it lacked the most to me personally. The main character Incubus power’s stood out to me the most though as they are not a set of powers i have often seen main characters have and never done in this way i won’t say more though sense that’s a major spoiler.

I personally found the sound effects as a fantastic edition, I have seen some other reviews saying they where to loud or distracting. I dunno if it was edited from when they wrote there’s to mine but i can say honestly i never felt they where that loud. It is clear there was some experimenting though as in the beginning there is some instrumental work which i felt was off, however later it switched to more just sound’s to accompany the use of there powers that felt fitting for each.

I felt the maturity of the varies characters mental health and psychology where handled pretty darn well, It was not done to a supreme level or perfectly realistic which i personally felt would have made the series much to dark. However it was handled nicely. With topics not brushed over to much, Really my only complaint is how use the main character and Shield a character later in the book got use to the violence around them. This of course could be explained by the above mental reason’s however even still maybe a tad to quick i am undecided my self. For some it may bother well others may enjoy it.

My only real concern’s are a few thing’s before i give my final thoughts.

1st: The main character and his powers, i don’t mind powerful characters if there is some balance to them. I don’t want everything easy for them. This sort of straddle the line and is beginning to lean in the direction i am hoping changes. He does seem to have weakness though what they are is difficult to have happen often thus making me worries it will be rare he will struggle. These is of course his emotional restrictions is fine but i would love for the whole Squad to each have a special place.

2nd: I like harem i won’t lie, i think some books handle it better well others are trashy of course, I don’t even min reverse harem though being male it is rarer to find that genre book in my interest. That being said i don’t mind that two of the ladies in the series so fair (possibly three) love the main character. hack Kurtis “The Daily Struggles of an Immortal” series i rather enjoy and well that isn’t the heaviest (in fact very light) harem elements are more then this series. My concern is one of the characters is Very young, well the main character only has sisterly feelings for her the other way around is iffy on and not clear. The reason she feels that way is even stated and is a legitimate thing that can happen. I just hope it is continued to be handled in a mature fashion and not pushed in a creepy way. (Which by the way i have total faith Kurtis Eckstein wouldn’t do However i felt it is worth bringing up for those interest in the series.)

Overall i rated my experience with 4 stars, yes i gave performance 5 and story 5, that is because i enjoyed both personally. However the book does have some minor flaw’s and is holding it slightly back.
