These books are my favs. They are a blast and combine it with the narration and I can’t sing the praises enough.
Samantha just kids me … what a hoot! I love the voice inflections for her. A couple of times I got the giggles. “Welllll, don’t be mad but…”
The card system was difficult for me to fully understand. Actually, the intricacies of the last few levels have challenged me a few times. However, I know that if I don’t understand how the level is beaten it really doesn’t affect the overall story and my enjoyment of it. I just wait for the next bit of snark.
