Our two main characters are broken and in need of someone to put them back together. Both of them have lost their sisters in very different ways and both are scarred because of it. Lance lost his sister when they were younger to drowning and he is deathly afraid of water ever since. Quinn lost his sister to cancer right after her son was born and Quinn gave up his life and future to raise her infant son as his own. They both feel that they don’t have time for a relationship. Lance hides behind his career and Quinn hides behind Sam his nephew/son. He thinks that he can’t have anything for himself because of being a father to Sam. The guys try really hard to fight it, but thank goodness love wins out and they work through all the crap they thought was so important to get to their Happy Ending!!
