I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I didn’t listen to/read the first book, but, apart from not knowing why the EMP happened, I didn’t feel like I missed much. That being said, the main character was SO annoying. She was self absorbed, like a spoiled teenager. Half of the book seemed like a temper tantrum. The narrator did a good job with what he had to work with.
