Exactly as the title says, I failed to connect to any of the main cast. The head lich is insufferably inconsistent. The very first thing he does is raise an undead butler, but when that butler turns out to be a self proclaimed failure and mistake, he doesn’t dismiss it and instead tolerates its uncouth personality and uselessness. He then goes on to kill and maim hundreds of people with no remorse or recourse. It needs to be consistent. I am given absolutely no reason why he kept Alex (the butler) and Alex went on to call MC “bone daddy” which I AS WELL AS THE MC both found unendearing. He command the butler to stop calling him daddy and does nothing about the continual disobedience in it doing so. Not a very good necromancer who starts out the story by killing literal gods if he can’t control one hastily created butler.
