The book was horrible. The characters were annoying and I couldn’t find a connection to them. For someone who almost got a full ride scholarship… Arden was idiotic and had no common sense. The secondary characters weren’t any better. The dialog was immature and childish. No real substance or witty banter. She had characters ask stupid questions every other sentence. For example Arden had to clarify everything that was just said. They had the same fight over and over again and never talked. Just threw short quick sentences at each other… ugh… Half the time I kept thinking get on with it and just spit it out. The narrators weren’t that great either… the pacing of their words were all off. It was just really painful to get through but I spent a credit on it. Definitely not going to get the second book or any other book from this author. Honestly the book could have been cut in half if she didn’t have Arden repeat everything that was said to her.
