Annoyed!!!!!

I see all these great reviews for this book but no-one addresses how poorly this author describes and introduced the black character’s in this book. Example.. “a black man with thuggish cornrows”. What the author could have said.. “ a black man with braids”.. Second example, author writes.. “ an African American women with chemically straighten hair” what you could have said a “black women with straight hair”. Because black women have straight hair that doesn’t require chemicals. There was more that annoyed my spirit but you get the point. Don’t put black characters in your books if you can’t give a description of them without all the bias language. I enjoy John Solo but stop sounding like a southern slave, or an urban gang banger( what you assume black people sound like)when it comes to black characters. It’s simply insulting. I’ll never read or listen to this author again. Oh and the book was ok..
