I was pleasantly surprised by this Audible title. The premise…a murderous demon living inside a Shiba Inu in the care of a hapless dog walker appealed to me…so l gave it a go. This book has a masked Mexican (Asian) wrestler, a conscientious dog walker, the obligatory femme fatale, red robed cultists, a strong female police officer, travel to the underworld, and of course a bird claw bad guy. The book started off with a bang..and kept the storyline and commotion flowing throughout. It concluded with all closed story points…but l would definitely welcome more. If you like Japanese anime style “tails”, dogs, likeable protagonists, good stories…this selection was meant for you. Great narration also!
