Not to be read before Wolfsong for sure. Anyone who read the first book will know there will be pain and suffering, but it is told in such a way that you can’t help yourself for wanting to know how it all works out.
TJ Klune is an extraordinary writer who can make you laugh even when you are crying and tour heart breaks for the characters even as you rage with them. I often have to work myself up to reading the more heartwrenching books, but it never fails that I do and I will never regret them.
