I don’t know. If you spent much much time with this period of history and read all the accounts, especially those that are against Angleton, I don’t think this gives you any more doubts. Did we do better after we got rid of him? Was he the problem? This individual was a person of his orbit, and so does that suspicion linger? I don’t know. I think it confuses the picture even more. Is that what it’s meant to do? Seem too much like a personal vendetta as opposed to solid research and well written analysis as I’ve seen other accounts. Is that what they want? it’s spies with a penchant for duplicity. Not great overall, not a compelling read and leaks with desperation.
