I didn’t know anything about this prequel prior to listening, and was pleasantly surprised by not only the story, but the narrator, David Brenin, as well. He was able to clearly distinguish the dialogue and attitudes of the different characters. I really enjoyed this audiobook.
Nora Ash has a way of telling stories that want me to be engaged and care about the characters. I look forward and hope to hear and read more from this author and the narrator.
