I really enjoyed this book! It was different than I had imagined it. Its a kind of a coming of age story tied into portal travel. A couple of young thugs – become radicalized and forget who helped them. In steps Bob – the neighbor who is sooo much more to these boys and their families who tries to save them from the fate their actions are dictating.
This is a story that many many young people of today need to read/hear. It cuts through all the politicized crap that society is dishing out and returns to the basis of what it means to be a responsible member of society. I recommend it highly!!
