I have long been a fan of Jeremy Robinson, but this collaboration with Kane Gilmour has taken my fandom to a new level!

This book sucked me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the end. Robinson and Gilmour create a world that is vastly different from the general post-apocalyptic storylines that abound.

The world the pair create is believable, the characters well defined and credible and the morals and values of the main cast, and those that they encounter on their journey, are diverse and interesting.

I was especially taken by the way the authors weaved “modern world” technology and environments into a society that has almost been beaten back to the stone age.

There is plenty to keep everybody happy here with lots of action, blood lust, great bad guys, great good guys, deceit, hope and despair, and a good twist on the ending, which I didn’t see coming.

No Jeremy Robinson book though, would be complete without superb narration and Jeffrey Kafer does a terrific job (as always).

The only downside is that this book was only released in the last month or so, and now I am wondering how long I have to wait to read book two?

My thanks to the author/narrator/publisher for providing me a copy of this book at no charge in return for an unbiased review.
