The Eaton is the debut novel and my first read from author John K. Addis. In reading the “blurb” I’d anticipated a mystery/suspense read. Think a young Stephen King! 10-hours 57-minute/421-pages of edge-of-your-seat/can’t-turn-the-page-fast-enough suspense. I admit I sped it up to 1-1/4 speed to listen & I’m voluntarily reviewing it because every book needs reviews. Jeff Hayes’ narration was outstanding narration adding to the book’s enjoyment. I look forward to reading more from this author. I bought this book back in October of 2016 on an Audible Daily Deal, what a steal! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
