I love it when I discover a writer who gives me a new experience, each time when I open a book of theirs to read. K.C. Wells did that for me with this book. For me it was a short read (I devour series and longer books in a span of hours) and one that was a treat. The MCs were sufficiently developed for the ride and the storyline kept me engaged. That’s what I look for in a book: emotional involvement. I have to live the story while I’m reading it. And Mr Leslie did it here also; brilliant. Four stars. ❤️
