I liked the novel, its structure and the unfolding of secrets that carry the narrative. I also was pleased by the lack of cliches.
As a lapsed catholic, I had a bit too much of god teachings and scripture quotes.
Nevertheless, the skills of Ms. Lynn as a novelist impressed me. I recommend this book.
