What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
As with all of the Soundbooth Theater productions they bring to life the material they read/perform, and in this one they go all out. Narrated by Justin Thomas James , Annie Ellicott , Laurie Catherine Winkel , and Jeff Hays this book is never short on unique and interesting voices. As good as any of them are at narrating by themselves, coming together gives a lot of life to back and forth interactions between characters and truly helps give each character their own voice.

Jeff Hays let the other members of Soundbooth Theater take the center stage, and I think they knocked it out of the park. I look forward to many other books where they get to all perform together.

Any additional comments?
A fun scifi adventure about a writer who is creating stagnant content that gets what will be his become his best story play out in his life. He decides to help a woman who happens to have been a superhuman science experiment, both survive and get revenge upon those that exposed her to constant torturous experiments. The story has lots of meta humor involving writing a book within a book, and lots of elements from other genres. It has elements of conspiracy novels, litrpgs, superhero stories and tons of action. It is well paced and a fairly short book that sets up what looks to be a fun series.

The middle action set piece is total destruction and mayhem and it is quite fun. The skies the limit for the mayhem that Grace and Veronique can rain down in the following stories. It is a fun story with great narration and performances.
