This was a great book at the start. All the survival aspects and things not going how he originally planned…yeah, I bought it. It seemed like something that would be actually happening. It felt very real.
The part that upset me was the girls. The main characters wife, Olivia made some of the DUMBEST choices. If it were a SHTF situation, I would’ve left her behind. She ruined the book for me. I would never read it again. I’m so infuriated by it, that I won’t be reading the second. Some people are so stupid that you can’t help them. Made up or not.
The reader was very VERY good. Not boring at all. kept me entertained.
If you want to listen to women whining and possibly get some good info, this is the book for you.
