Wow. What a whirlwind story! Born at Dawn is action-packed from beginning to end, and the plot is wonderfully developed. While some aspects are a bit predictable and cliché, it doesn’t take away from the story, and it’s splendid for a debut novel. Amelia Hugh does an excellent job conveying the emotions and nuances of each character, giving each one a unique sound. Overall, this audiobook was extremely well-done, and I would highly recommend it to fans of Throne of Glass, Serpent and Dove, and From Blood and Ash.
