I have been a fan of MK Gibson for a while, but was a bigger fan of his other series (ShadowMaster) until now. This series has reached elite levels… the author and the series should be considered in the same company as authors like Jim Butcher and Richard Kadrey.
Im gonna go into the details of the plot, but if you read “American Gods” and thought the book moved a little slowly, you will love this book. It has so many elements of greatness:
– brilliantly written characters that you fall in love with and root for
– non-stop action
– philosophical conflicts that make you stop and think
– nostalgic references that make you smile
– plot twists
– Heroism
– drama
– humor
– and so much more
Its among the best books I have read in the last few years. Go get it!
