Jeremy has another winner with Space Force. I can emphatically state that this was an awesome story (You’ll see what I did there once you read/listen to this one). This was a fun romp through video game tactics, pop culture references, and a journey taken with an interesting form of aliens. I enjoyed the way Jeremy introduced aspects of himself throughout the story such as was encountered in later chapters and how they were left to end. The epilogue for this book was one of the best I’ve listened to in some time and was quite original.
My only complaint with this novel relates to the style of narration for a majority of the book. Rather than using a joint team (duet narration), a dual style was used. Each narrator performed very well throughout the story, but I feel it would have been better with a duet effort.
I will continue to be on the lookout for Jeremy’s next novel as this is the second book of his I’ve listened to this year. He has a way with words and story-telling across multiple genres that keeps bringing me back.
