The story never really had promise, but I got too far in to turn back. I wasn’t really annoyed until I got to the author’s outlandish display of hubris in his notes. I think he thinks he’s written about reality. Even more, I wonder if he thinks he’s somehow figured out the secrets of the universe. Did I mention hubris?
