This book was so enjoyable and so well written! It is a snapshot of the life of a gay and bisexual mans’ life in the oppressive 50s, and at the same time, a wonderful, hopeful romance and a preview of changes to come in the world. It is a perfect balance of insight and romance. I really, really recommend it. Don’t let the narrator stop you, you do get used to him.
