This is one of those stories that I have a hard time with because I absolutely loved the concepts and world-building, but found myself screaming at the Adam’s stupidity.

There are a lot of familiar concepts here: dying MC with LITRPG elements, alien challenge, tower structure, etc. In spite of that the overall world with alien factions and skill use/development kept me intrigued. The mc, Adam, though was extremely frustrating in his decisions at certain points, acting childishly gamer-like despite the gravity of his own and the greater situation. He does make some progress in this regard towards the end though, so I have hopes he will improve in the sequel.

The voices by the full cast were well done and I believe reflected the characters well. The production were quite good, but some of the sound effects were unnecessary or overtook the narration, this could be 4.5 stars for production.

Overall the world I quite exciting enough that I want to see what happens next. The ending could set up for the sequel being somewhat repetitive, or could be the opening for Adam to finally make some personal progress, hopeful it does not overuse the mc future knowledge trope it has set up here.
