Into the Shadows is the first book I’ve read by Jenn D. Young. From the start it hooks you with Lorelei and her mom always on the run. Lorelei is trained young but then her memories are wiped and replaced, but there is always someone watching over her. As Lorelei gets older her powers start coming back and growing. But you don’t really know what kind of immortal she is or why she’s so important. This is a fun listen that is full of excitement and intrigue.
