I had credits to burn and was going through the sci-fi genre and stumbled upon this series/story. The description of spaceships and wizards peaked my interest enough to give it a try.. I didn’t realize how long it was until it downloaded and I was skeptical.
I’m glad I gave it a listen, because after a few chapters I was hooked. As the author set out to do, it’s a spiritual successor to what Firefly could have been and the vaccuum it left. the performance of the narration also is superb and really bring the universe and characters to life; and home as lifelong friends and family.
